Cladding Estimator

**Position Summary**

We are looking for a skilled **Estimator** with strong **AutoCAD proficiency**, a **background in construction**, and solid **sales communication skills**. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing takeoffs, pricing projects, and supporting customers from estimation through to order confirmation. A strong understanding of **cladding systems, fabrication, and installation details** is essential.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare accurate and detailed material takeoffs from architectural drawings using AutoCAD and PDF markup tools
- Develop cost estimates and quotations for exterior cladding projects
- Collaborate with the technical team to ensure estimates align with fabrication capabilities and project specifications
- Support the sales process by understanding customer needs and offering the best material solutions
- Maintain organized project records and work within CRM or estimation software
- Stay current with cladding products, fabrication techniques, and industry trends

**Qualifications**
- 2+ years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in cladding or exterior envelope systems
- Proficient in **AutoCAD** and construction drawing interpretation
- Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to build customer trust
- Knowledge of cladding materials, fabrication processes, and installation practices
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and comfortable managing multiple projects at once

**Preferred Assets**
- Experience working with aluminum composite panels, Wood Polymer Composite, Metal siding or other architectural cladding materials
- Familiarity with fabrication shops or installation workflows
- Working knowledge of CRM or estimating platforms

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
