Arena Attendant

To assist in cleaning and maintaining our facilities to provide a clean and safe environment for the public.

Job Responsibilities:

- After each rental and before you leave the facility, ensure the entrance, lobby, washrooms, dressing rooms and seating areas are cleaned and garbage cans are emptied as needed.
- You may be asked to help operate and patrol Public Skating. Duties during this shift include:

- Show up half an hour before Public Skating begins and collect admissions from participants until you are relieved at the gate by the Acting Facilities Operator.
- At this point, put on skates and a staff jacket and patrol ice surface, ensuring all participants adhere to the Public Skating rules as posted. All problems are to be reported to the Acting Facilities Operator.
- Stay half an hour after Public Skating concludes to help clean the facility.
- Other job related duties may be assigned by the Manager or a Facilities Operator, and shall be completed as requested.
- You may be asked to assist in Hall setups and takedowns.
- Moving nets for flooding and securing ice entrance ways.
- Reports to full time attendant on duty and/or Facility Manager.
- Reports any incidents to Supervisor that shift.
- You may be asked to assist in the concession booth.
