The **Warehouse Supervisor** is responsible for the direct efficient and effective supervision of the Shipping/Receiving and Warehouse at the Rossdown facility. Supervising a diverse team, the Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring employees meet the safety and quality expectations of internal and external stake holders, while managing performance to ensure that the department meets customer needs for on-time departure and delivery of product.
The Supervisor will work closely with production and customer service to effectively communicate the status of our product and product delivery times. This key role will support meeting customer expectations and managing internal product flow.
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure all orders and putaways done with 100 % accuracy
- Ensure all orders loaded accurately, investigate any errors found
- Pick and pack orders in cooler and freezer environments, rotate inventory using the FIFO method, receive dry products and putaway accordingly
- Assist in inventory/cycle counts and keep quality standards high for Audits
- Perform daily area inspections
- Keep a clean and safe working environment
- Report any discrepancies / damages
- Follow & enforce quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
- Additional duties may be required
**Requirements**:
- Min. 1 year Forklift Experience (Narrow Aisle Reach, Ride on power Jack)
- Proven working experience as a warehouse supervisor
- Proficiency in warehouse software - RF Scanner Gun
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in cold environment (Cooler & Freezer gear provided)
- Fluent in writing, reading & speaking English
- Ability to speak Punjabi is considered an asset
- Work with Production dept. supervisors on product ETA'S and shortages
- Occasional weekends and stat holiday work may be required
