Brushsaw Operator

Our Company: Allumette Forestry Inc. is based in the Ottawa Valley and is involved in all aspects of forestry, including silviculture, planning, operations and management.

Position Overview: Allumette Forestry Inc. is in search of a brushsaw operator to perform manual tending activities. Operators are required to cut brush with clearing/thinning saw (Stihl FS 460). Previous experience in tending or thinning is considered an asset but not required. Equipment and training are provided.

**Production bonuses available in addition to hourly pay.**

Qualifications:

- Knowledge of tree species identification
- Ability to navigate difficult terrain in all forms of weather
- Other related experience such as tree planting or logging
- Driver’s license (G or equivalent)
- Professional Chainsaw Operator License (optional)

**Job Type**: Seasonal

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

- Bonus pay
