**Position Title**: Bartender

**Salary Range**: $15.20 - (commensurate with experience)

Legendary Hospitality in the heart of Downtown Halifax are looking for bartenders to join our team at the BG (the Beer Garden) for the summer. We are looking for a passionate hard working individual to join our Front of House teams. Our core values are focused around the people we employ and the customers we serve and we are looking for like-minded individuals.
**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for verifying age requirements and serving guests responsibly
- Mixing, pouring, garnishing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to company specifications
- Responsible for opening and closing the bar
- Processing payments, managing inventory and cleaning bar supplies
- Have a thorough knowledge of the food and beverage menus
- Understand and communicate with guests any specials or promotions
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and food safety policies
- Responsible to maintain a clean and sanitized work environment
- Deliver a Legendary guest experience
**About you**
- 2+ years in the food and beverage industry an asset
- A working knowledge of cuisine is an asset but not necessary
- Must be punctual, reliable, have ability to work as a team and independently and have a strong work ethic
- Advanced English language skills
**Work Environment**
- Physical demands include walking and standing, bending, kneeling, repetitive twisting and lifting, and repetitive arm movements
- Must be able to work outside for a prolonged period of time
- Must be able to lift 40lbs
- Uniforms and PPE provided by LHG must be worn during work hours
**Work Authorization**
- Must be authorized to legally work in Canada
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 5 months
Pay: $15.20 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 48 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Night shift
