Ray-Mont Logistiques is a dynamic organization aiming to become the essential link in the international trade logistics chain. We offer various operational logistics services such as loading, transportation, and storage of surplus products.
Ray-Mont Logistiques is currently seeking a full-time permanent crane operator to join its dynamic team. The crane operator's role is to lift, move, and position containers using lifting equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
**Work Schedule**:
Available for day (AM) or evening (PM) shifts
Monday to Friday (5 AM to 1 PM or 1 PM to 9 PM)
Overtime opportunities available, including nights and weekends.
**Main Responsibilities**:

- Plan daily workloads and supply work teams and the production plant with containers.
- Operate and control a Reachstacker, container handler, and empty container handler to lift, move, and position containers.
- Sort containers and perform operational support tasks.
- Inspect crane equipment before and after use to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.
- Safely load and unload materials onto trucks and at the depot.
- Communicate with team members to coordinate movements and ensure operational efficiency.
- Report any equipment failures or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Comply with all relevant crane operation and safety regulations and standards.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy machinery (required), ideally with Hyster and Kalmar machines
- Vocational diploma (DEP) in heavy machinery operation or equivalent training (an asset)
- Ability to operate machinery in narrow aisles
- Ability to work under constant pressure and manage stress effectively
- Positive attitude and desire to excel

**Work Environment**:
You will be outdoors for the entire duration of your shift, comfortably seated in a heated and air-conditioned machine.
