South Country Village is looking for a dedicated, motivated, and passionate individual to join our team as a Dietary Aide. At SCV, our Dietary Aide’s perform a variety of routine kitchen and dining room duties related to the preparation and serving of food for residents.

Some of the primary responsibilities include preparing food for regular and modified diets, performing assigned dining room duties such as deliver/collect food carts and steam tables, clearing of tables after meals, able to follow established dietary and sanitization routines along with any other duties relating to food services.

**Qualifications**:
The successful Dietary Aide must be able to demonstrate:

- Ability to read, write and communicate in English;
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team; able to request and accept direction as required
- Able to positively interact with residents, families, visitors and other team members across the organization
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Detail orientated
- Has completed the Food Services course or willing to complete learning within 12 months
- Physically and emotionally fit to work in a large senior’s community
- Related experience is desirable
- A satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Inquiry
