**Duties**:

- Manage the yard operations, including loading and unloading of materials and products as well as maintain yard in winter months using a skid-steer.
- Utilize pallet jacks, fork lifts and other equipment to move items within the yard.
- Oversee shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Build and organize pallets and crates for shipment.
- Maintain a safe working environment by following OSHA guidelines and safety protocols.
- Measure and receive incoming materials using warehouse software management systems.
- Work with production team to queue up materials for processing
- Assist with general maintenance

**Skills**:

- Knowledge to operate equipment material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in shipping and receiving processes.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain an orderly yard layout.
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems and RF scanners for inventory tracking.

This role requires a proactive individual with excellent problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The Yard Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the yard, maintaining inventory accuracy, and meeting customer expectations.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 48 per week

- Secondary School (required)

- warehouse: 3 years (preferred)

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
