Looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals in need? We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Respite Support Workers to become part of our caring team. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver quality care while gaining valuable experience in healthcare and Disability Services.

**Position Details**:

- **48-hour weekend shifts in Beaumont, two weekends per month**:
**Your Responsibilities**:

- Offer one-on-one support to clients aged 2-17 years
- Assist with daily routines, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
- Support morning and bedtime routines
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Prepare and serve meals, respecting dietary needs and preferences
- Perform light housekeeping to ensure a safe, clean environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Develop and implement engaging activities tailored to each client’s interests and abilities

**Qualifications**:

- Prior experience in similar roles, particularly with Autism
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, empathetic, and respectful of client privacy

**Requirements**:

- Current First Aid certification
- Police Check with Vulnerable Sector screening (within the past 6 months)
- Child and Family Services (CFS) intervention check (within the past 6 months)
