Our team of digital marketing experts brings to the table decades of experience in online strategy, search engine optimization, website design, and more.

We're growing and expanding our digital marketing and web design services on Vancouver Island and on the lower mainland, and are looking to add a SEO strategist to our growing team.

**Responsibilities**:

- In-depth knowledge of AHREFs and keyword research.
- Good copywriting skills.
- Knowledge of GA4 Analytics.
- Experience with GTM/GTAG.
- Experience in Google Search Console.
- Creative backlink building knowledge (white hat only, please)
- Keep up to date with new technologies and Google updates as trends.
- Extensive knowledge of AI processes.

**This position is open to those in the Greater Victoria area.**

Work model is hybrid, with some in-office time required (we can be flexible)

**Ongoing education**

We provide up to 10% of your hours per month paid for ongoing courses in digital marketing, website design, or anything within the spectrum of our services to continue your learning.

**Community involvement**

We offer a $100 budget paid by us, for you to donate to a charity of choice each month in your name. Alternatively, we offer up to 4 hours a month paid for you to volunteer with a charity of your choice.

**Extra perks**

VDM sponsors and volunteers time at different events throughout the city - perks include concert tickets, event tickets, in-person networking events, free breakfasts - attendance time is paid.

**Job Type**: Freelance

Pay: $27.00-$33.00 per hour
