Warehouse Supervisor

**_This role is an afternoon shift: 3PM - 11:00 PM, Sunday through Thursday_**

**Position**: Warehouse Supervisor** Reports to**: Warehouse Manager

We are looking for a **Warehouse Supervisor** to join our Warehouse team Our Warehouse Supervisor will directly oversee a team of 10 hourly employees in a very busy and rapidly growing temperature-controlled warehouse environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all our finished goods processes, including order picking and shipping. This involves taking ownership of these processes and leading improvement projects. It also includes meeting warehouse targets through management and accountability of hourly employees and will ensure compliance with safety, quality, policies, and procedures.

**_Knowledge & skills_**
- You have strong supervisory skills including highly developed interpersonal and organizational skills
- You have a strong background in order picking and shipping best practices
- You have strong communication skills, both written and verbal

**_Experience_**
- You have 5-10 years of relevant supervisory experience
- You have 1-5 years of experience working in a frozen food storage facility
- You have experience with ERP and WMS systems

**_Nice-to-Have _**
- Warehousing experience in a food manufacturing facility
- Project management skills/experience
- Lean or Six Sigma

**things you will do**
- Oversee and control all aspects of our finished goods processes
- Set and enforce standards for finished goods handling and general freezer best practices
- Work with multiple departments to meet customer requirements and team financial goals
- Manage staff scheduling for the department and work assignments
- Evaluate employee performance and provide constructive, effective feedback
- Review, coordinate, and ensure department activities meet financial budget and goals
- Fully optimize warehouse freezer, and cooler spaces practicing FIFO
- Ensure appropriate cycle count procedures are in place and properly executed to maintain inventory accuracy and control

**OTHER **
- Valid Forklift Certification
- Available to work 3PM - 11:00 PM, Sunday through Thursday
