We are currently seeking a **Cook** to lead the daily preparation of meals that meet both general nutritional standards and individual dietary needs. This role is essential in supporting the health and well-being of the children in our care. You'll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your skills in meal preparation, food safety, and time management truly matter.

As our Cook, you'll ensure meals are cooked and presented with care, meet dietary plans, and are served with attention to safety, hygiene, and allergy protocols. If you thrive in a supportive, team-oriented environment and want to make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Prepare and serve daily meals in alignment with menu plans and dietary guidelines.
- Maintain food quality and safety through temperature checks, proper storage, and sanitization practices.
- Ensure timely meal delivery and appropriate portioning for each student.
- Generate new, nutritious, and child-friendly menu ideas.
- Prepare weekly grocery lists based on menu plans and kitchen inventory.
- Keep a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen space.
- Work collaboratively with the team to support daily operations and occasional special events.

**Hours of Work**:

- Monday to Friday 9:00am-2:30pm

**What You’ll Bring**:

- Food Services Experience
- Understanding of safe food handling, sanitation standards, and allergy protocols.
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and handle physical activity as part of the role.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills.

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 27.5 per week
