Teine is currently seeking an **Operational Technology (OT) Cyber Security Analyst** to play a key role in strengthening our cybersecurity posture and IT risk management practices. In this role, you will provide strategic oversight and lead security initiatives within our Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and OT environments. Reporting directly to senior management, you’ll drive security programs aligned with industry-recognized frameworks, enhancing the maturity of our information security and risk management strategies.
As a key member of the Operational Technology team, you will work closely with automation partners, offering expert technical guidance on system architecture, security best practices, and robust configurations to protect our operational network. **Responsibilities**:
- Enhance governance frameworks for Operational Technology (OT) security.
- Deploy and integrate Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions across OT environments.
- Design and implement security policies for OT and Industrial Control Systems (ICS).
- Develop and enforce security standards, incident response procedures, and secure configuration guidelines.
- Provide technical support for SCADA systems, ensuring best practices and readiness for new technologies and regulatory changes.
- Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments for OT, identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigations.
- Design and implement secure OT architectures, including firewalls, segmentation, and access controls.
- Ensure proper IT-OT network segmentation to prevent lateral threat movement.
- Manage the ongoing development and enforcement of security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Support IT audits, compliance efforts, and risk management strategies.
- Provide strategic guidance on IT security projects, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation.
**Required Qualifications and Skills**:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited university, with minimum 5+ years’ oil and gas experience.
- Technical expertise with enterprise-level SCADA platforms.
- Experience in risk management, compliance, and information security policy development.
- Familiarity with IT security governance, risk, and compliance standards in various industries.
- 5+ years of experience in vulnerability management, risk assessment, and security tool configuration.
- Strong ability to analyze, collaborate, and communicate within cross-functional teams.
- Ability to support IT audits and coordinate management responses.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk management strategies.
- Full-time, hybrid role, based in Calgary or a potential field location.
- Occasionally travel to field sites to collaborate with automation partners.
