SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

This individual must have completed post-secondary education and obtained either a College Diploma or University degree in his or her field of specialty. The individual must be able to work well independently and in a team environment, providing direction to the project team. The Project Manager shall possess a comprehensive understanding of industry practices and standards and is committed to improving on his or her skills within the field of Project Management. The individual must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong organizational and time management skills, as well as exemplify leadership capabilities. PM Level 5 will implement sound project management principles for medium to large-sized complex projects with construction budget valued over $2M, with moderate to high risk level. The Project Manager will take on various business development duties related to securing new clientele and/or expanding the company’s scope of services.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and continuously improve bid submission processes
- Regularly review Biddingo and Merx sites for new business opportunities; prepare and submit RFP responses for new work in coordination with Company Principals
- Lead the internal estimating process, including attending bid walks, contacting sub-contractors and suppliers
- Have obtained relevant designations such as PMP or similar and maintain good standing
- Have a comprehensive understanding of working drawings including but not limited to Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Communications
- Establish and leverage relationships with sub-consultants and/or sub-contractors, vendors and suppliers
- Identify and develop new technical and operational tools and procedures to expand scope of services and improve efficiencies therein within the Company
- Develop new marketing tools and promotional materials as required
- Work with company Principals in expanding business markets and opportunities
- Mentor, support and provide direction to project team
- Manage project team an larger projects including Project Coordinators and Construction Managers
- Work with Company Principals to improve operational efficiencies within the Company

Please note that this role is not remote.

COMPENSATION

Level Annual Salary
$85,000 - $100,000
