**Broadband Maintenance Inc.** is a Telecommunication Construction Company in the Ottawa and surrounding area. We are currently seeking **MDU Cable Technicians** to join our team. We offer extensive training, a competitive wage as well as a comprehensive benefits package.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Install fibre optic, coax and data cables in new and existing buildings
- Use portable hand tools, including concrete drills
- Install EMT and PVC conduits
- Work with fibre optic cable, while following manufacturers specifications
- Read blueprints and construction plans
- Troubleshoot cabling and conduit issues and communicate issues effectively

**Requirements**:

- Valid G license with a clean Drivers Abstract.
- Familiarity with building and electrical code.
- Follow directions and perform duties assigned.
- Follow company and job site health and safety practices.
- Capable of performing manual labor tasks.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
- Standing, bending, lifting, and ladder use for extended periods of time.
- Working at heights.
- Use of common handheld power tools.
- Proven ability to work well within a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Self-disciplined, motivated, and organized.

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
