Hourly Pay Range: $29.13 - $32.37 - Interested in working within the nuclear industry?_ - Is safety top of mind for you when working within a manufacturing environment?_ - Do you have experience with and enjoy working with various manual tools and power equipment?_ - If you answered yes to all of the above, then this new opportunity may be the one you’ve been waiting for_ **Job Summary**: The Nuclear Grade Decontamination Cleaner is responsibile for maintaining and promoting a clean and safe work environment while adhering to strict CNSC governed requirements for hazardous material. **Responsibilities include**: - Responsible for minor preventative maintenance. - Look after the storage and cleaning of waste and hazardous materials used by manufacturing. - Will be required to work within a team environment to ensure that the business is in compliance with all policies, procedures, regulations and legislation. - Will be required to work with ladders and other equipment at various heights to replace the filters from the dust collection. - Responsible for thorough cleans on large vacuum ovens. **Qualifications**: - Grade 12 Technical graduate. - Valid class ‘G’ driver’s license. - Possess/successfully obtain forklift operator license and Level 1 crane operator license > 15 tons. - Possess/successfully obtain Transportation of Dangerous Goods certificate. - Demonstrated team player. - Basic computer skills to include Microsoft Office. - Scissor lift and/or forklift training is an asset. **You will be required to demonstrate the following Competencies**: - Quality - Safety Awareness - Applied Learning - Managing work - Team working - BWXT Nuclear Energy Canada Inc. _embraces diversity of thought, values individuality, encourages new perspectives and provides equal opportunity in employment for all qualified employees and applicants without regard to race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, family status, disability, a conviction for which a pardon has been granted or a record suspended or any other category protected by federal law._
