In a team environment, you will drive vehicles, operate tools and equipment and perform physical labour in the continuous delivery of water and wastewater utility services according to adopted and legislated operational, maintenance and repair standards and procedures.

At a minimum, you have an OSSD plus an additional program of over two (2) and up to three (3) years Community College Diploma in a related field, must attain and maintain a valid Class II Water Distribution System Operator’s license and a valid Class I Wastewater Collection System Operator’s license. You have applied knowledge of water distribution, wastewater collection and storm water system operation and maintenance and technical knowledge of the Safe Drinking Water Act, the Ontario Water Resources Act and associated regulations and standards.

With three years of relevant experience and a valid DZ driver’s license, you have a mechanical aptitude, are adept at identifying and solving problems.

This union position offers a starting hourly rate of $31.91, based on 40 hours weekly and comprehensive health and wellness benefits.
