Toromont Reman is looking for a Shop Helper to join our team This position is responsible for supporting our branch site location with the work flow by keeping all shop areas organized and safe in order to streamline customer orders in an accurate and timely manner. The Shop Helper is intended to assist Shop Technicians and Supervisors in an effort to maximize the productivity and efficiency.

**In a typical day, YOU will**:

- Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviors at all times, in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives
- Assist Shop Technicians and Supervisors as directed in support of the business’ needs
- Track, store and maintain all required tooling required to ensure safe tool operation
- Be responsible for the calibration of the tools, making sure to respect the expiry date parameters.
- Locate and clean equipment as required including moving the equipment to end locations before and after repairs are made
- Validate component lists and prepare for pick up by technicians or shipping via carrier
- Maintain shop and surrounding work area cleanliness
- Support Contamination Control efforts by maintaining bulk oil, collection sites and solvent stands according to ISO standards
- Ensure waste is segregated according to established policies
- Clean, typhoon/steam wash and buff parts as directed to assist Technicians with repairs
- May occasionally help technicians on the road with their tasks

**Must-haves for this role**:

- Minimum Secondary School Diploma
- Valid Ontario G license or equivalent
