We are currently looking for a Part Time Medical Laboratory Technician/ Medical Administrative Assistant for our office in Liberty Village or Annex area This position will assist as a Medical Receptionist
- Must have excellent communication skills & Customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize, delegate and perform all lab functions
- Aptitude for accuracy and efficiency
- Must have Medical Office experience
- Must be **CSMLS **certified
- Excellent venipuncture skills
- Must have experience with IM injections
- Medical Office Assistant Experience is an asset
- Experience with PS is an asset

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Prioritize work for the day and delegate when necessary
- Bringing patients into exam rooms
- Checking Vitals
- Performing Venipuncture
- Giving IM injections
- Labeling samples accurately
- Assisting doctors in exam rooms
- Documenting information in EMR
- Preparing Inventory and ordering medical supplies
- Continuous improvement of patient flow and Lab processes
- Assisting and covering the front desk when required

**Qualifications and Skills**
- **Must be **CSMLS certified*

**Hours of work**

Monday to Friday: 3pm to 8pm

Occasional Saturdays: 9am to 4pm

**Location of work**:

- Bathurst and Bloor
- King and Strachan

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: Up to $17.00 per hour

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

- CSMLS (preferred)
