Timber-Tech Building Solutions, formerly Darmac Framing Systems, is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to join our team. This in-person role is ideal for someone with exceptional organizational skills, effective problem-solving abilities, and strong attention to detail. The Shipping Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring that products are prepared, labeled, and shipped accurately and on time.

Wage: Starting at $25/hour

Schedule: 8:00AM-4:00PM M-F

Location: In-person - Balzac, AB.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate daily shipping operations to ensure all customer orders are packed, labeled, and shipped on schedule.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, damage, and quality compliance.
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips, customs forms, and other required paperwork.
- Communicate with carriers and logistics providers to schedule pickups, negotiate shipping rates when needed, and resolve delivery issues.
- Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely arrival; proactively communicate any delays or issues to internal teams and customers.
- Maintain shipping and receiving records to support accurate reporting and audits.
- Coordinate returns and exchanges, ensuring proper documentation and restocking procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with production to align shipping priorities with order deadlines.
- Maintain a safe and organized shipping area, ensuring compliance with company health and safety standards.
- Support process improvement initiatives, including identifying cost-saving measures, improving workflow efficiency, and reducing shipping errors.
- Represent the company professionally and maintain positive relationships with clients and partners
- Follow and comply with all company policies and procedures
- Comply with PPE requirements
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional training in logistics or supply chain management is an asset.
- Previous experience in shipping or logistics is required.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in shipping documentation and processes.
- Proven ability to multi-task and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to set solutions into motion.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Familiarity with shipping software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with Smart Sheet would be an added bonus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
