Associate Project Portfolio Manager supports the Portfolio Strategy & Planning Lead with initiative and project oversight. Supports with alignment facilitation, implements required portfolio delivery and reporting frameworks.

**Hybrid Ottawa - least once a month and for key sessions with alignment**

**Responsibilities**
- Partners with Information Technology Portfolio Strategy and Planning Lead to coordinate strategic portfolio planning
- Partners with Information Technology Portfolio Strategy and Planning Lead to develop criteria for evaluation portfolio and proposals
- Establish reporting mechanisms (including Dashboards)
- Performs day to day portfolio activities
- Monitors progress, budgets, and schedules of initiatives and projects
- Establishes communication plan and calendar
- Supports the Portfolio Strategy and Planning Lead to mature establish and mature strategic portfolio planning framework
- Supports to establish guiding principles and procedures for the portfolio

**Top Skills Required**
- Knowledge of portfolio management methodologies
- Ability to manage portfolio activities to meet goals
- Preferred project management professional (PMP) or portfolio management professional (PfMP) certification
- Entry Level Project/Portfolio Manager: Less than 3 years of experience
- Agile Methodology

**Assets**
- PowerBI and other reporting skills
- Planview Modules, Azure DevOps
- French

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
