The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is the largest mental health and addiction teaching hospital in Canada, as well as one of the world's leading research centres in its field. Reporting to the Research Manager and Principal Investigator (PI: Dr. Louise Gallagher), the CAMH is currently seeking a full-time, contract (1 year) Research Methods Specialist to support a 5-year research study in youth and adolescents with mental health multimorbidity. This project aims to provide a deeper understanding of the trajectories of youth seeking mental health care as they navigate key transition points in their development. This goal will be achieved by including sampling from a diverse range of clinical services, standardized data collection and deep phenotyping of select clinical cohorts of youth (aged 11-25 years) and will support modular clinical trials.
- Primary duties include:_
- Ensuring the effective management of data collection, entry, auditing, quality, and accuracy
- Coordinating end-to-end data flows and identifying data dependencies in support of delivery, release, and change management and ensuring long-term data reusability
- Collaborative developing custom user-centred data dashboards
- Building reports/data extracts and basic analyses as required by Study Investigators
- Other administrative duties including database management and maintenance of study documents are required
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Medical Informatics, Neuroscience, Information Science, or a related field
- Five (5) years of experience in an active health care and/or research environment, ideally, including a combination of direct research experience in a data management setting
- Superior programming expertise with REDCap, R, and Python is required
- Working knowledge of databases (e.g., SQL, relational databases, No-SQL, etc.) is required
- Experiencing working with neuroimaging (e.g., fMRI and/or EEG), molecular, and clinical datasets is an asset
- Experience working on longitudinal, complex studies in mental health research is an asset
- Strong knowledge of data management across the research lifecycle, including creating, processing, analysis, preservation, access, and reuse of data
- Strong knowledge of data engineering systems, data models, and data structures
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail and determined attitude towards ensuring accuracy and integrity while meeting project deadlines and requirements
- Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking skills and demonstrated communications skills (both oral and written).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and diverse stakeholders in a team environment
- Bilingualism (French/English) and/or proficiency in a second language would be an asset.

**Salary Range**: $38.21 - $51.54 per hour
