**Technical Analyst** **The successful applicant must have the following skills and competencies**: - University Degree in Computer Science or related discipline with a minimum of two (2) years of similar or related experience; OR a College diploma in a related field with a minimum of three (3) years' similar or related experience. - Working knowledge of relational databases, dimensional data modelling and analytical reporting, web and client server concepts, development, testing and debugging concepts. - Strong technology project management skills focused within an information systems environment. - Working knowledge of the following preferred: - Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and Meter Date Management (MDM) systems. - Meter Reading Systems (MV90, Sensus, Neptune), Field Area Networks, and quality data read flow and synchronization (Multispeak and Secure FTP flat file transfers). - Experience working with various market vendors of MDM systems, including Utilismart and MV90, and the role they play in VEE (validation, estimation and editing) of collected Meter Data as well as in the delivery of bill ready and settlement ready data considered an asset. - Familiarity with Harris CIS products, including Northstar, mCare, and Metersense, and the role they play in the metering landscape considered an asset. - Experience in the Ontario Electricity market and its underlying regulations as dictated by the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) and with the IESO (Independent Electricity System Operator) is considered an asset. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills with customer service focus. - Excellent attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team through successful positive and collaborative relationships. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting and programming skills. - Valid class "G" driver's licence.
