Our employees design innovative solutions to meet technological challenges on a daily basis. **Join a team of 5 technicians in our office located in Mount Hope, Hamilton. You will be working on a newer generation 7000XR full flight simulator. Flight simulation training device is approved under Transport Canada -TP 9685.** **_ Night shift hours: 05AM to 1:30 PM_** In this role, the **Simulator Technician **will be expected to: - Perform technical tasks on site, in field or laboratory. - Receive training in the various phases of laboratory, office, plant or field technical work. **Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**: - Perform preventive maintenance tasks on the simulators and associated simulator systems. - Assist in diagnosing and correcting problems on the simulators and associated simulator systems. - Utilize maintenance management system to record and track maintenance activities. - Complete all designated training activities. - Perform pre-flight and post flight on designated simulators. - Run automatic Qualification Test Guide (QTG). - Assist with refurbishment and hardware modifications. - Comply with CAE quality management system. - Perform logistics and inventory duties, including parts receipt, shipment, repair, and testing/validation. - Perform administrative tasks as required. - 2-year technical degree or 4 years in an electronic, avionic, or technical related field. - Ability to work flexible shifts day and night, and to adapt to changing work schedules. - Ability to interpret system prints and schematics. - Proficiency in operating test equipment (oscilloscope, multi-meter, signal generator, logic analyzer, etc.). **CAE offers**: - Benefits: fully flexible for you to choose what is important - Retirement: Defined Benefits Retirement Plan & Group Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) - Financial Perks: Employee Stock Purchase Plan & numerous corporate discounts - Personal and Family Programs: Physical Wellness Plan & Supplementary Maternity Plan - Work-Life Balance: Flextime & California Fridays all year - Fun at work: social and community events all-year round **#LI-KP2** **Position Type** Regular CAE thanks all applicants for their interest.
