Job description

International Point of Care, Inc. (IPOC) develops, manufactures and supplies unique Point of Care rapid tests, biological reagents, and raw materials for the in-vitro diagnostic industry. IPOC is seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual who can fill the role of Manufacturing Associate in our lab.

Job Responsibilities:
As a Technical Systems Associate, you will be responsible for the following:

- Performs manufacturing procedures as required in the controlled area (such as Low Humidity, High Humidity, and ambient lab conditions) for the production of commercial or non-commercial products.
- Assisting in the set-up, operation, and maintenance of production equipment.
- Calibrates and maintains lab equipment as required.
- Prepares solutions/components from raw materials as per Standard Operating Procedures.
- Examines components throughout the production process and flags potential defects or quality issues.
- Completes work on schedule in keeping with priorities determined by supervisor.
- Provides input to process improvements and the development of new and/or improved manufacturing procedures.
- Maintains department documentation such as database updates, inventory records, and manufacturing records.
- Maintains records to comply with regulatory requirements.
- Makes recommendations for corrective action necessary to ensure conformity with quality specifications.
- Conducts routine and non-routine analysis of incoming raw materials, in-process, and finished goods according to standard operating procedures.
- Compiles data for documentation of test procedures that may include biochemical and chemical assays, stability program testing, and formulation studies.
- Assists in the development and implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of Company products
- Evaluating existing processes to identify areas for improvement
- Participates in investigations and the preparation of summaries and reports.
- Execute plans using appropriate tools and experience, while adhering to the strict timelines
- Provide scientific expertise where applicable
- Resolve issues and conflicts within the project team diplomatically
- Provides training and direction to colleagues as required
- Helps keep the facility clean and organized.
- Completes production records in full compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP’s)
- Ensure that all work is performed in full compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), Standard Operating Procedures, established safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements:

- Min 2 years experience in a regulated environment
- Experience operating and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment and performing routine inspection or test procedures
- Knowledge of computers, manufacturing equipment (e.g. manual, semi-auto, & automatic) inspection equipment and test measurement equipment required
- Experience following Standard Operating Procedures or similar protocols
- Strong detail orientation
- Experience with solution preparation and with associated lab equipment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Demonstrated organizational abilities and proven attention to detail
- Experience in assembly, packaging and labeling products for internal and external customers

**Salary**: From $40,000.00 per year
