West Four Group of Companies Inc. is a Western Canadian leader in supplying doors, hardware, and building specialties. Our trade brands are Madero, Penner, Security Building Supplies, WSI and Two Six Creative, with facilities in Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Regina, and Winnipeg.

Our Saskatoon facility has an opportunity for a full-time production fabricator on our production team. This person will report to the Production Supervisor.

**Responsibilities**:

- Welding and assembly of metal door and frame products
- Reading and understanding production orders
- Finish prep work
- Complete projects on time and safely
- Install glass, locks, hardware, and electronics to fixtures
- Package and crating of doors/frames for transport
- Be physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs without hardship
- Work safely and abide by OH&S standards/requirements
- Clean equipment and worksite area
- Stock movement, putting away or pulling orders as needed
- Production work building retail frame kits
- Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager or Production Supervisor

**Skills and Abilities required**:

- Proficient in Mig welding and metal component manufacturing
- Ability to read plans and machining spec sheets would be an asset
- Self-starter and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Balance of quality and efficiency
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Woodworking/carpentry experience is an asset
- Valid driver’s license
- High attention to detail in all areas of work
- Willingness to learn new manufacturing methods, strong work ethic and positive team attitude with strong regard for quality and safety

**Salary**: $18.15-$35.35 per hour
