Position: Painter

**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**:

- **Preparation and Painting**: Perform day-to-day prep work and painting tasks in residential and commercial settings, including wood and wall preparation, rolling, cutting, priming, spraying (both in-shop and in-field), and touch-ups.
- **Safety Compliance**: Attend monthly safety meetings and weekly toolbox meetings, working in accordance with supervisor and foreman instructions and adhering to Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) protocols and company safety sessions.
- **Housekeeping**: Maintain excellent housekeeping standards at job sites and in the shop to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- **Team Collaboration**: Be a team player, collaborating effectively with colleagues and supervisors to achieve project goals.
- **Qualifications**: Possess either apprentice or experienced painter status, have reliable transportation to job sites (with a valid driver's license), demonstrate proficient verbal and written communication skills, and exhibit the ability to self-motivate and manage time effectively.
- **Tools and Equipment**: Have your own tools including brushes, cages, poles, putty knives, etc., and maintain proper personal protective equipment (PPE) such as a hard hat, safety vest, and steel-toe boots.

Assets:

- Possession of additional certifications such as First Aid, WHMIS, Fall Arrest, and Aerial Platform tickets is considered an asset.

Note:
Applicants must be willing to work in Calgary, Alberta for the duration of the project.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
