Grocery Stocker

We are a family owned and run Market & Bistro located on our farm in Pitt Meadows. We are looking for more team members that are passionate about supporting local products and offering our customers the best service and selection.

We are currently looking to fill a store clerk/grocery stocker position. Customer's wouldn't have anything to buy if the product isn't on the store floor and displayed correctly. Which is why this position is so very important.

Must be able to work 8:00 am to 4:30 om AND/OR 10:00 am to 6:30 pm.
- Advancement training available to move up to a customer service position or production position in the company._

Responsibilities for Clerk/Stocker
- General stocking duties including filling store shelves with grocery items, filling the dairy and beverage coolers and filling our freezer displays
- Receiving grocery deliveries & checking off order list to ensure all items received
- Transport deliveries to different departments using hand carts
- Continually organizing overstock storage areas to keep everything in it's place
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards
- Help and assist customers in finding merchandise and providing them with information
- Follow safety policies and procedures, and encourage colleagues to do the same

Qualifications for Clerk/Stocker
- Must be highly organized and able to work at a fast pace
- Must be able to work independently with mínimal supervision while still getting the job done
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
- Ability to perform work tasks while bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching
