For over 100 years, our family has worked with designers and craftspeople from idea to object, curating timeless pieces and the most distinct creations. Our sister brand, Mkt, is an independent design house creating pieces for a modern, edited home. We have three large showrooms within Toronto's Design District. In the Elte Showroom, you'll find Rugs and Carpeting, Furniture, Lighting, Mattresses, Linens and Home Decor.

**WHO YOU ARE**

You are a results-driven manager and coach with the ability to enable sales teams to deliver outstanding service. You have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience leading high performing team(s) in customer facing environments. As part of the leadership team at Elte, you will fuel your passion for home décor and design while driving the business forward through high expectations. You are a curious, flexible, resourceful, and dedicated leader.

**WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE**:

- 3-5 years experience managing a sales team(s)
- Direct sales experience with luxury goods is preferred
- Experience with CRM and point-of-sale tools (IE. Salesforce) is an asset
- Influential, positive approach to leadership
- Goal oriented, competitive business driven mindset
- Effective problem-solving skills; able to break down complex issues into actionable items
- Demonstrate servant leadership through hands on people development
- Flexible and adaptable to change; change management skills are an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and experience working with cross-functional teams

**WHAT YOU WILL DO **(among other things):

- Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of sales professionals
- Grow a team through shoulder-to-shoulder coaching and feedback
- Inspire teams to deliver world class service, leading by example
- Consistently uphold and maintain the visual standards of the showroom
- Address client requests solve customer service issues
- Lead daily and weekly department meetings
- Hold weekly 1:1 meetings with direct reports
- Support executing department company initiatives
- Effectively manage schedule, payroll, and other departmental admin duties
- Champion and act as an ambassador for the Elte brand
