You are responsible to coordinate the activities of taxi/limo/shuttle drivers, maintain communication with divers and customers, and ensure all the necessary details are communicated to both parties in a timely and effective manner.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Answer all lines and assist customers, drivers and other divisions.
- Schedule assignments & coordinate activities of multiple drivers and equipment.
- Monitor drivers check in’s/check out’s during shifts.
- Accurately records and documents information from customers and/or drivers.
- Process payments received (handling cash, Point of Sale machines).
- Sorting and filing of documents, entering information into various systems.
- Perform any other general duties as assigned.
**Required Skills**:
- Previous Transportation dispatching is an asset.
- Call Centre experience is a huge asset.
- Ability to read instructions, follow written policies and procedures and take direction.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain concentration and mental alertness in a variety of situations.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining great attention to details.
- Knowledge of street and road systems in Edmonton and surrounding areas
**WE ARE A 24/7 365 DAY A YEAR OPERATION. CANDIDATES MUST BE FLEXIBLE IN TERMS OF AVAILABILITY (DAYS, EVENINGS, WEEKENDS).**
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
COVID-19 considerations:
**Experience**:
- call centre: 2 years (preferred)
- dispatching transportation: 2 years (preferred)
- taxi dispatching: 1 year (preferred)
- customer service: 2 years (preferred)

- Overnight Shift (preferred)
- Night Shift (preferred)
- Day Shift (preferred)
