**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Provide personal care services, with use of electric CEILING LIFT and SLING; sponge bath, hygiene, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist at times with eating dinner
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor client for any change in health status.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to client
- provide all mobility transfers with electric ceiling lift and sling
- Support client who is confined to an Electric Wheelchair with transferring him from wheelchair to bed with bed time routine and use of ceiling lift and sling,
- morning routine, getting him out of bed and commode use, with use of ceiling lift and sling
- monitor daily activities and report any significant changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel.

**Qualifications**
- Experience as Health Care Aide and HCA certified, experience with use ceiling lift with sling is required, Criminal Check is required, Basic First Aid is a plus
- Knowledge of patient care practices and familiarity with working with people with physical disabilities is essential.
- Strong communication skills with fluent English and the ability to work effectively with client
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others and energetic
- Fit and ability to perform physical tasks related to Health Care Aide, and mobility transfers with ceiling lift and sling
- Part time position, 2 to 3 hours per shift
- Sun to Thurs evenings 8 pm to 10pm and one weekend 9am to 11am (Sat or Sun)

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 18 per week

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 2026-01-02
