About the Role:
Axiom Builders is looking to bring a
- Coordinate with project teams and site staff to support project buying requirements;
- Manage the purchasing of material and service requirements for all construction projects;
- Create, track and expedite orders in a timely manner to ensure schedules and projects needs are met;
- Work with Accounts Payable and Vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies;
- Develop and maintain great relationships with internal stakeholders, site staff and suppliers;
- Communicate proactively and regularly with Superintendents and Project Managers on upcoming purchasing needs;
- Travel to sites when required to meet internal stakeholders and suppliers.

- Required Skills and Experience_
- Academic background Construction, or Supply Chain will be considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of building materials, vendors and distributors in the market.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and exceptional ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders;
- Experience using Microsoft Office and Excel for basic data entry;
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as Accumatica will be considered an asset;
- High-rise residential, commercial and mixed-use construction experience within the local market will be considered an asset;
