**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their inquiries.
- Handle food items in accordance with safety regulations and best practices to ensure quality and freshness.
- Operate the cash register, process transactions accurately, and manage cash handling responsibilities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop area, including food preparation and display areas.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking shelves and monitoring product expiration dates.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of the shop during peak hours.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling procedures.

**Skills**
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor to engage effectively with customers.
- Experience in the food industry, particularly in food service or retail environments.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems for efficient checkout operations.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices to maintain a safe shopping environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated during individual tasks.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.40-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week
