Paving Crew Foreman

**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the crew on-site, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Operate heavy equipment such as pavers, rollers and other machinery as needed for project completion.
- Oversee asphalt paving operations, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
- Assist in planning work schedules, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress to meet project deadlines.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce compliance with safety regulations among crew members.
- Provide training and mentorship to crew members on equipment operation and construction techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, equipment usage, and material inventory.
- Collaborate with superintendent, project managers to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, including pavers, rollers and other machinery.
- Strong skills in asphalt paving techniques.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Ability to build, dig, pave, and perform various construction tasks as required.
- Valid class 5 driving license mandatory.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and management.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment for all crew members.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $85,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
