**Responsibilities**:
As an **Equipment Operator**, you will primarily be responsible for operating loader equipment handling soil fabrication and organics management. The Operator is responsible for mixing soil, loading trucks from the ramp, and managing stockpiles.
- Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, and screeners based on qualifications.
- Mixing soil, loading trucks from ramp, managing stockpiles.
- Soil fabrication and organics management (biosolids, food waste, yard waste, compost).
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment.
- Filling out waybills for customers.
- Inspect and verify product condition to ensure cleanliness and compliance with loading procedures.
- Provide internal and external customer service excellence.
- Work in adherence to all safe work practices and procedures, as well as all regulatory requirements.
- Provide feedback to the employer on working conditions and use of equipment to increase the efficiency of the yard, shop, department, or work crew.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

You Possess:

- **Previous relevant experience operating heavy equipment is an required (i.e. loader, screener, excavator, rock truck).**:

- A minimum of 1 year of equipment operating experience.
- Experience with routine maintenance operations.
- A positive team attitude.
- A strong safety mindset.
- Mechanically inclined
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment as a member of a team.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
- Experience working with computers is an asset.
