Second Assistant Superintendant

Sunstone Golf Club, a picturesque haven nestled in the heart of Pemberton, BC, is on the lookout for a dynamic Golf Course Assistant Superintendent with Mechanical Experience to join our thriving team. This is a unique opportunity to be mentored and learn from the best, and potentially step into a leadership role, managing staff and taking over the reins from our current Superintendent.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the current Superintendent in overseeing daily golf course operations.

Manage and lead a dedicated team of maintenance staff, providing guidance and support.

Utilize mechanical expertise to oversee equipment maintenance and repairs.

Contribute to the planning and execution of comprehensive turf care programs.

Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental standards.

**Requirements**:
Spray ticket (Sunstone will pay for your certification)

Some knowledge of irrigation

Demonstrated experience in golf course maintenance.

Strong mechanical background, adept at maintaining and repairing golf course equipment.

Proven leadership skills, with experience in managing and motivating staff.

In-depth knowledge of turf management practices.

Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
