CEDA is looking for Journeyman Pipefitters for an upcoming shutdown** in the Conklin area.**

**What we Offer**:

- Journeyman rate of **$50/hour** with a $3/hour night shift premium
- Apprentice rates: 3rd Year - $44.20 and 3rd Year - $39.00
- ** Camp accommodations** provided
- Day and night shifts, working 12hr days
- Start date: April 24, 2025 (travel to site April 23)
- Expected duration 4-5 weeks
- Shift 12 days on 2 days off

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Install new mechanical equipment (e.g., pumps, compressors, air dryers, converters, heat exchangers, relief valves, pressure-reducing valves, condensate tanks, recirculation pumps, booster pumps, pneumatic controls, coils, isolation valves, 3-way valves, condensate traps)
- Fabricate and weld piping/equipment supports, brackets, guides
- Fit up and prepare piping requiring welded joints
- Liaise and collaborate with other trades, consultants and suppliers
- Cleans condensate traps and equipment strainers
- Provides occasional guidance to the primary function of others, including training.
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications to determine layout requirements
- Cut openings for pipe in walls, floors and ceilings using hand or power tools or machines
- Measure, cut, thread and bend pipe to required shape using hand and power tools
- Weld, braze, cement, solder and thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping system
- Install supports, valves, piping and control systems
- Test system for leaks using testing equipment
- Other duties as assigned

**Role Specifications**:

- Journeyman Pipefitter/Steamfitter (Red Seal)
- 3rd or 4th year Apprentice certification
- 3+ years experience on shutdown events or long term maintenance at plant sites
- H2S Alive, CSO or CSTS 2020 & Confined Space entry First Aid, fall arrest and AWP certifications required. **MUST have physical certificates onsite, no digital copies will be accepted.**:

- Class 5 driver’s license (GDL not accepted) able to provide an abstract with no more than 5 demerits in last 3 years
- Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
- Receptive to change - can adapt to changing circumstances
- Ability to lift and manipulate objects of up to 80 lbs. for 50 feet is required
- Able to provide a negative pre-employment drug and alcohol test, booked by CEDA
