THL Gourmet Foods Inc. is one of the leading importers and distributors of Asian food products from the Pacific Rim and other regions of the world. We are currently seeking a team-player to work in our warehouse department in Burnaby location.

**Position Summary**:
**Working Hours**:

- Full-Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM (8-hour shifts)
- Availability for occasional Saturday shifts required

**Responsibilities**:

- Accurately pick and pack orders according to the packing slip and our standard operating procedures
- Utilize power tools and equipment to select and palletize orders effectively
- Participate in receiving, checking, and storing stock promptly and accurately
- Replenish picking locations and assist in unloading trailers/trucks to maintain inventory levels
- Provide support across various warehouse functions, including shipping, freight, returns, and Customer Pick-Up departments, as necessary
- Maintain a tidy and organized warehouse space, ensuring all areas, especially the Freezer department, are clean and organized.
- Organize and maintain the cleanliness of the freezer in accordance with company SOPs This includes building orders onto pallets for shipping and supporting other duties related to warehouse maintenance
- Work in accordance with company’s standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency in all warehouse activities
- Support the Warehouse team as needed

**Requirements/ Must-Haves**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Capable of performing repetitive tasks and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team

**Assets/ Nice-to-Haves**:

- Experience working in a freezer environment or cold storage will be highly regarded
- Forklift or reach truck certification (or prior experience operating warehouse equipment)
- Multilingual abilities (such as Cantonese or Mandarin) are considered an asset to support effective team communication in our diverse workplace; however, they are not required and will not impact hiring decisions.

**Working Conditions**:

- This is a full-time, onsite role based in a warehouse environment.
- The position requires regular physical activity, including prolonged standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, and repetitive movements.
- Manual handling of materials is a key component of daily responsibilities.
- Working in cooler and freezer environment packing and unloading frozen food

**Compensation & Benefits**:

- Expected Gross Hourly Wage: $20.85 to $26.23
