Specific Responsibilities - Primarily providing treatment to children under Healthy Smiles Ontario (HSO) and seniors on the Ontario Seniors Dental Care Program (OSDCP). - Obtains complete medical history and verifies/applies medical history prior to treatment. - Experienced and comfortable performing difficult extractions. - Comfortable treating patients with complex medical history. - Prescribes antibiotics and administers local anesthetics. - Orders and interprets x-rays. - Supervises care provided by Dental Assistants. - Performs universal precaution procedures for infection control. - Charts in accordance with the clinic’s dental charting guidelines and standards.

Salary range: $110,100 - $123,220 (prorated to 0.5FTE)
