**Outdoor Season - We are looking to hire approximately 30 coaches to coach in teams of 2-3 - please tell your friends**

**Please read the full description below as this is not a traditional soccer league. Children join our classes as young as 18 months old with a guardian and can play to 7 years old.**

We are looking for reliable, energetic and engaging Soccer Coaches to work part-time every weekend on Saturday and Sunday mornings as well as weekly on some evenings during the week. If you are passionate about working with children, becoming a positive role model, making a difference in your community, being active and playing soccer/sports, this is the ideal job for you

Our training program is comprehensive and we provide everything you need to run amazing and fun classes for all age groups. The Little Kickers program was originally designed by FA qualified soccer coaches and experts in child development in the UK. Little Kickers Coaches around the globe are constantly updating the program with engaging and age appropriate skills to keep the program current, and most of all, fun

**It won't feel like work**
Little Kickers Coaches help children learn fundamental soccer skills combined with important pre-school learning concepts such as colour and number recognition, sharing, following instructions - all while having a blast and using their imagination.

**Compensation**: Ranges from $16 - $19/hour depending on role (Coach vs Kit Holder Coach) and experience

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with and engaging young children
- Must be able to work Saturday and/or Sunday mornings (approx 9a-12p) with limited vacation requests
- Additional weeknight shifts available (approx 5-8 pm)
- Reliable and able to commit to assigned shifts with limited time off requests
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and outgoing personality and who enjoys working with children, parents, and co-workers
- Able to be playful, silly, fun, and imaginative with children
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with children and deliver feedback to parents
- High energy individual who is physically fit and able to coach soccer skills/games with young children for 3+ hours in outdoor weather (**yes we play rain or shine)**

**The Role is Part-Time**:

- We are hiring to start during our indoor season and to continue during the Outdoor Season (May-August)
- Consistent availability (weekend & select weeknight) a must with very few dates booked off/year
- We offer from 3 - 10+ hours/week - more in the outdoor season
- Opportunities for growth include admin, coach management roles, working with other Little Kickers areas in Canada or abroad

**Physical Requirements**:

- Be physically fit to both demonstrate and coach soccer training drills
- Able to lift equipment bag 30-50lbs

**Upon Hire the following will be required**:

- Valid criminal record check with Vulnerable Sector Screening for those 18yr+
- Valid & completed First Aid Certification
- 2 written character references

Our classes teach soccer skills and games in a fun and non-competitive environment. Coaches employ their imagination and creativity to deliver the lessons in an engaging and playful atmosphere.
