**Divisional Purchasing Manager**

**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Operational**
- Ensure compliance of all established Purchasing Policies and procedures within the Division
- Oversee the company’s day-to-day purchasing activities
- Establishing KPIs for the purchasing team; ensure that all buyers are meeting their personal performance standards; develop capacity and expertise within team
- Review POs issued by buyers for errors (price, surcharges, etc.) along with proper authorization and compliance with company policies and procedures
- Assist plant buyers on vendor supply issues, escalate as needed
- Work closely with each plant to effectively manage inventory requirements to mitigate financial risk and cost exposure
- Maintain System Codes and ensure appropriate coding on New Material Requests.
- Assist in maintaining accurate supplier pricing in the system
- Working closely with Product Development and Quality Assurance in coordinating raw material changes and requirements as directed by sales and/or customers
- Work with A/P and Suppliers on payment/credit issues

**Strategic**
- Participate in all Corporate led RFP initiatives for services and materials; testing products, evaluating vendors, providing feedback
- Oversee all spend including vendor and material selection to ensure spend is leveraged and coordinated between all plants
- Negotiate supply agreements within the Division in collaboration within Corporate strategic goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers
- Meet with new vendors and source substitute products which support cost savings, quality improvement, or overall efficiencies
- Continually look for process improvements and cost savings opportunities
- Sourcing new machinery to assist plant efficiencies and reduce costs

**REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**:

- 3 to 5 years of experience in a management/leadership role
- Strong knowledge of purchasing standards and policies
- SCMP Designation or equivalent
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques to maximize the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
- Able to work and maintain composure under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong in both oral and written communication skills. Ability to interact with all levels of business, proven ability to communicate in an ESL work environment.
- High level of networking and engagement skills
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $100,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
