Trenergy is a 100 percent locally owned fabrication plant in St. Catharines, Ontario specializing in the manufacture of boilers, pressure vessels, rail tank cars and more. **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Interacts with lead hands, supervisors and managers to help meet plant SAFETY, QUALITY and PRODUCTION goals.
- Assembling components with the use of nuts, bolts, hand tools and power tools.
- Performs confined space watch as required per production requirements.
- Prepares and compiles all paperwork required for C/S watch duties.
- Assists shop personnel in handling and moving materials to, through and away from machines both manually and by crane.
- Operates a variety of hand and power tools required to perform various tasks.
- Monitors shop supplies, consumables, weld wire, flux and rod ovens, etc. Required at each work station to ensure production output is maintained.
- Prepares products for NDE inspection and testing.
- Paints by brush as required.
- Takes on janitorial duties as required.
- Assists as required in production. Assists fitting personnel in aligning, fitting and moving of materials being fabricated.
- Maintains a safe and clean workplace.
- Completes daily time sheets for production recording.
- Participates in continual improvement initiatives.
- Participates in training of junior team members.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Experience using various machines and hand tools
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Excellent team work and communication skills
- Some crane and listing device experience
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Manually dexterity
- Grade 12 or equivalent REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

- 1 to 3 years work related experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.39 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
