**Job Description**:
American Iron & Metal is a growth-oriented metal recycling and processing company located in Hamilton, Ontario. We are currently recruiting for an Office Cleaner with experience for our Hamilton location who will oversee our industrial facilities.

This role will be straight afternoon shift.

We are looking for someone who is a motivated, eager to learn, demonstrates high attention to detail, has excellent communication skills, and approaches each job with safety as top priority.

Duties will Include:

- Responsible for entire facility including shop floor, building, property, plant and office washrooms.
- Perform some basic handyman duties (basic plumbing, hanging etc.).
- Dust and disinfect phones;
- Perform dusting of furniture, desks, chairs, tables, filing cabinets, bookcases and shelves;
- Wash all touch spots on doors, handles, switches etc., chair legs and table legs as required;
- Clean and sanitize all fixtures in washrooms, glass and mirrors, and sanitize counters;
- Empty all trash containers and other containers as per site requirements.
- Remove the liners and install new ones. Clean and sanitize as required;
- Refill all dispensers with new product. Report to supervisors any consumables that may be in low supply;
- Adhere to the Client's security policy of locking or unlocking doors.
- Other related duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Manufacturing / Industrial setting: 1 year (required)
- Must have an outstanding safety record and follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift up-to 50lbs
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team orientated environment
