Receptionist

Position Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
- Answer the phone and greet walk-ins and clients.
- Schedule and confirm appointments.
- Electronic and paper billing for private patients, ICBC & WCB claims, lawyers’ offices, hospitals.
- Data entry, filing & creating charts for new patients.
- Washing/Folding Laundry.
- Maintain a clean & tidy clinic throughout the day.
- Following up with patients and scheduling them in if needed.
- Daily cleaning tasks including Covid protocols.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Pleasant and professional phone manner.
- Well spoken, with strong English and communication skills; written correspondence required.
- Ability to work under pressure, alone and with others, in a busy clinic handling clients walking in and phones ringing.
- Must be able to multi-task, problem solve, provide alternatives and solutions.
- Must be organized and able to prioritize.
- Must have a high degree of accuracy in all areas of work.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Familiarity on Jane software is desired, but not necessary as you would be trained to use it.
- Typing proficiency required.
Position Details:
- Friendly, professional and caring work environment.
- Supportive management and administrative team.
- Full-time evenings 4-5 shifts per week.
- Starting hourly wage is relative to experience.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 22 - 28 per week
