Aon is looking for an Intern Analyst, Investment Consulting in Toronto

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Toronto office.

**Available Location: Toronto**

**Dates: exclusively from May 5th, 2025 to August 29th, 2025**

**What the day will look like**
- Prepare performance monitoring reports for institutional clients which includes:

- Gathering qualitative and quantitative data from external managers, custodians and other data providers;
- Calculate performance statistics;
- Create and modify charts and tables;
- Draft investment manager performance commentary;
- Work with a variety of investment excel-based tools;
- Peer review work performed by other analysts;
- Prepare presentations on investment topics (e.g. investment manager selection, investment manager structure);
- Conduct searches for investment managers or CAP providers;
- Review and amend governance documents (e.g. statement of investment policies and procedures);
- Support experienced analysts and consultants in all aspects of work servicing clients and prospects;
- Keep up to date about current financial events and news;
- Participate in internal seminars regarding current industry issues and technical training.

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**
- Relevant co-op/intern experience (1-2 terms);
- General knowledge of the institutional investment industry, understanding of investment concepts and the financial markets;
- Highly motivated, self-starter and team-oriented individual;
- Highly organized individual, with strong attention to detail and accuracy;
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills in English, (French is an asset);
- Ability to establish and form relationships;
- Ability to multi-task, work under timelines and adapt to changing business needs;
- Thorough knowledge of MS Office Suite: Microsoft Excel (e.g. array and look-up formulas), PowerPoint and Word;
- Positive demeanour and a desire to participate to the success of Aon.

**Education**

Pursuing Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Finance or Economics.
