Client Relations Specialist

What is the opportunity?

What will you do?
- Conduct high-volume outbound calls to policyholders.
- Consistently meet or exceed established sales and revenue growth targets through proactive outreach and effective client engagement.
- Clearly educate clients on the product value and coverage options, overcoming objections and guiding clients to confident, informed purchasing decisions.
- Foster a positive customer experience to support long-term trust and retention.
- Issue new policies accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal procedures.
- Manage timely follow-ups to maximize conversation opportunities and ensure clients receive timely responses to their inquiries.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of client interactions, call activity, and sales progress reporting purposes.
- Build rapport and maintain positive relationships with our partners and policyholders through effective and empathetic communication.
- Support brokers in quoting and binding insurance policies by answering eligibility and coverage-related questions.
- Assist with troubleshooting policy discrepancies and special broker requests.
- Competently answer inquiries from our partners relating to their earnings.
- Utilize retention strategies to strengthen existing customer relationships.
- Complete a variety of administrative tasks relating to policy maintenance and collaborate with other departments to provide a premium experience for both our policyholders and partners.

What do you need to succeed?
- Level 1 General License is an asset.
- Must be willing to obtain a General Level 1 Insurance License.
- Minimum 2 years sales experience.
- Insurance experience an asset.
- Proficient in both written and verbal communication in English.
- Proficient in both written and verbal communication in Mandarin, Punjabi, or French is an asset but not required.
- Demonstrated success in outbound calling, objection handling, closing sales, and consistently achieving sales targets.
- Skilled in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and navigating difficult conversations with professionalism, empathy, and patience.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including strong working knowledge of Excel for data entry, tracking and reporting.
- Open to working evenings and weekends.
