In this role, you will**: - Install, configure, and maintain IBM MQ 9.x across distributed environments (Linux/Unix). - Manage queue managers, queues, topics, channels, and MQ object security. - Monitor and tune MQ performance, availability, and throughput. - Implement and maintain MQ clustering and multi-instance queue managers. - Maintain RDQM clusters, quorum devices, and replication health. - Conduct failover testing and DR drills to validate RDQM resilience. - Troubleshoot RDQM-related issues and coordinate with IBM support when needed. - Analyze and resolve complex MQ issues across production and non-production environments. - Implement TLS encryption, SSL certificates, and secure authentication mechanisms. - Ensure MQ configurations comply with internal security policies and regulatory standards. - Support internal and external audits with detailed documentation and evidence. - Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., Bash, Python) for MQ operations and monitoring. - Automate MQ provisioning and configuration using tools like Ansible. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior MQ administrators and middleware engineers. **Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?
