**Assistant Manager Job Posting**

**Location**: 125 Ironside Dr, Brampton, ON L7A 0H3

**Working Hours**: Monday thru Saturday - Typically five 8hour shifts/40 hours per week

**Work hours may vary to fit business needs

**About you**:

- At least 2 year of property management experience (preferably in a storage company) and willingness to learn the industry.
- At least 1 year of experience in a managerial position.
- Dedicated, punctual and reliable.
- Great with technology and is proficient on smartphones/tablets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels internally and externally.
- Demonstrate ability to operate successfully in a time-sensitive and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Committed to working in a socially inclusive environment responding with sensitivity and personal awareness to the diverse needs of members including visible and non-visible dimensions of diversity.
- Physically fit

**What you'll be doing**:

- Overseeing daily, weekly, and monthly operations
- Managing the location and employees
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Opening and closing the facility
- Showing & renting Self-Storage units
- Making Collection Calls
- Selling merchandise (upsell moving and packing supplies)
- Renting trucks and trailers (where applicable)
- Answering phone calls
- Receiving and processing payments
- Maintaining a clean office
- Performing a facility and locker check
- Stocking merchandise area
- Maintaining a clean and safe facility
- Ensuring all rentable storage units are clean and ready to show to potential clients
- Other duties as assigned

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
