We operate seven themed multi-age centres in the McKenzie/Shelbourne area, where our qualified Early Childhood Educators implement a pre-kindergarten curriculum centered around learning through play.
**Summary**
We are seeking a passionate Infant Toddler Educator to join our team at Simply Fun Childcare Inc. As an Educator, you will play a vital role in fostering a nurturing and engaging environment for children, guiding their learning experiences, and supporting their development through play-based activities.
**Responsibilities**
- Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
- Create a safe and inclusive environment for all children, including those with disabilities.
- Observe and assess children's development and progress, providing parents with constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall curriculum and classroom experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom that reflects the themes of our centres.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and daily activities.
**Requirements**:
- A valid Early Childhood Education and Infant Toddler (ECE/IT) certification and equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and families.
- Ability to adapt activities to meet the diverse needs of all children.
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8.5 per week
