- As a blaster within the Pomerleau civil engineering & infrastructure team, you’ll work closely with all team members in coordinating the work. Working on large-scale construction projects - ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion - you'll have the opportunity to participate and collaborate with team members to ensure that work is carried out according to specifications.

What you will do:

- Checks and maintains drilling and blasting equipment and accessories;
- Organizes and carries out blasting operations or any other work requiring the use of explosives;
- Repares, organizes and carries out drilling operations using hydraulic drills;
- Dynamite trenches, masses and road networks (pipeline);
- With proper training and a valid card, the blaster may be required to use handling and motorized equipment such as forklifts, aerial work platforms, etc.
- Adhere to safety procedures to ensure compliance with company and construction industry standards;
- Work as part of a team, maintaining a pleasant and trusting working environment, communicating effectively with colleagues and other trades on the site;
- Care for and maintain construction equipment;
- Carry out all other related operational tasks.

This role is made for you if you have:

- A valid CCQ occupation card
- A drilling and blasting DVS
- ASP Construction & WHMIS 201 card
- Valid driver's license - Class 5
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar position
